A crew of hashpower
Mining pool
A pool combines work from many miners and accounts for each worker’s accepted shares. It gives miners a shared route to finding blocks.
What you need from the pool
- Connection endpoint
Use the operator’s official Stratum hostname and port. The correct endpoint depends on the pool profile.
- Payout address and worker
Use your Crown payout address and the operator’s required worker naming format. Keep workers distinct when you monitor several rigs.
- Supported miner profile
Match your Scrypt miner and the pool’s accepted work format. NiceHash support must be confirmed by the operator for the published profile.
- Payout rules
Check the published fee, accounting method, minimum payout and payout timing. These values are not assumed here.
Know what healthy work looks like
Watch accepted shares, rejects, connection uptime and the hash rate reported by both your miner and the pool. Short-term estimates can differ; a sustained reject rate or reconnect loop needs investigation.
