Play first. Value follows.
The play-to-earn economy
Gold supports the everyday adventure. CRN connects selected player value and the network economy. They have different jobs.
Two currencies, clear roles
Gold
Earn through missions, treasure, NPC encounters, exploration, resource sales and trade. Spend on repairs, ammunition, food, common gear, NPC crew and routine ship or port services.
CRN
The intended hard-currency layer for selected player trades, major ownership, rare crafting, clan or territory systems and marketplace value.
A reward pool, not a coin per click
The Captain Reward Pool design evaluates useful activity across a reward period rather than paying a fixed CRN amount for every kill, step or quest. Activity quality and anti-farming rules help connect rewards to contribution.
Quests, PvP, trade, exploration and coordinated play can contribute where the published season rules allow. The current website’s proposed player-economy allocation is 20%; payout weights and final on-chain funding remain to be confirmed.
From play to player value
Payments and transfers
The design allows an assigned game wallet, external transfers and purchase routes using supported crypto or fiat services. Supported assets, networks, exchange quotes and fees must be published by the live account and payment service.
A circulating economy
Gold costs keep everyday supplies and services meaningful. CRN spending, player trade and ownership create additional uses. The game revenue design includes a 50% burn of in-game CRN revenue, separate from FORGE’s burn of purchased coins.
