Charting the long voyage
Emission schedule
Emission is the rate at which new CRN enters circulation. It is separate from how each reward is allocated and from coins removed through burns.
What the schedule needs to show
- Block reward
- The CRN issued by each rewarded block under the active rules.
- Reward changes
- The activation heights and rule that reduce or otherwise change issuance.
- Circulating supply
- Coins issued and available under the network’s accounting, after relevant removals.
- Burned supply
- Coins permanently removed, tracked separately from new issuance.
The detailed emission table comes later
A complete table will show activation height, reward per block, allocation per block and cumulative supply across each interval. It will use the verified Crown release parameters.
